The NHL Alumni Association (“NHLAA”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information you share with us.
Personal information is collected for the purposes of keeping our members informed of our programs and services. By providing your information, you acknowledge and agree that you are a member of the NHLAA (all submissions will be verified for authenticity). Publicly available personal information may be collected for the purpose of updating members’ records as well as for the purpose of recognizing outstanding achievement or distinguished service by our members. You can choose which personal information to share with us, however, please note that certain communications may only be provided in one format or another so if we do not have the appropriate information you may not receive all communications (e.g. if we have your phone number but not your email you would not receive email communications). You are responsible for all information that you provide to the NHLAA.
As a member of the NHLAA, we may use your personal information to communicate with you about updates happening at the NHLAA, including programs and services such as career, education, volunteer, networking, award or social programs, to conduct surveys, and/or solicit opinions or potential participation in research projects or focus groups, to market offers from NHLAA partners to you, to obtain insights from you, to comply with legal obligations, and for internal business and operational purposes. If at any time you wish for NHLAA to cease sending you all or any of the communications, or to delete your personal information in any manner you may request the same from us.
We do not sell or otherwise publicly disclose any of this personal information nor do we share our members’ information directly with any third party, including but not limited to any of our corporate licensees or sponsors with whom the NHLAA has agreements with. We may, from time to time, communicate with you to market products and services provided by our partners, or for other potential business opportunities for you.  When we do so it will be your choice if you want to actively engage with such partner, and regardless if you do or do not at no time will we share your personal information with any third party unless you agree.
The NHLAA has the sole discretion to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy from time to time.  We will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy in advance, and you will have an ability to change your preferences at that time (or any time thereafter).
