The month of November is Hockey Fights Cancer month across the NHL. Whether you have battled personally or have witnessed a loved one, a friend or even a teammate fight cancer, we have ALL been affected by it at some point in our lives. You are never alone. This month and every month the NHL Alumni Association and the entire hockey community stands with you.

NHL Alumni Association Presents


This new series will be comprised of interviews with notable NHL Alumni members and celebrities, capturing unique and memorable stories in a casual conversational style. Each week we will feature a new article giving fans an unseen perspective on the lives of some of the game’s greats.

The NHL Alumni Association (NHLAA) exemplifies this commitment to its members in many different ways, including financial assistance, commercializing players’ rights, emotional support, physical care, post-playing career transition and family aid, all in furtherance of its efforts to ‘Honour the Past’. Since its inception, the NHLAA has acted as a liaison with its local chapters and has become the largest membership association for retired professional hockey players.
