The Montreal Canadiens Alumni Softball Tour To Stop In Several Cities Across The Province This Summer!

The Montreal Canadiens Alumni is pleased to announce the initial dates of their Annual Softball
Tour, presented by Canadian Tire. Performing in several towns across the province of Quebec during the summer, the Alumni
team will feature many former Canadiens players as well as former Montreal Expos players.
The Canadiens Alumni softball roster will include: Guy Carbonneau, Sergio Momesso, Stéphane Richer, Chris Nilan,
Patrice Brisebois, Mathieu Dandenault, Gilbert Delorme, Mathieu Darche, Richard Sévigny, Yvon Lambert, Enrico
Ciccone, Dave Morissette, Jocelyn Lemieux, Pierre Dagenais, as well as several former Expos members such as Claude
Raymond, Steve Rogers, Derek Aucoin and Denis Boucher.

The preliminary game schedule* includes:
• Thursday, August 7, Stade Napoléon-Fontaine, in Granby
• Friday, August 8, at Stade municipal de Victoriaville
• Saturday, August 9, at Stade Desjardins de Beauce, in St-Frédéric
• Sunday, August 10, in Lanaudière
• Saturday, August 16, at Parc Sanscartier, in Gatineau

As part of their summer tour, the Montreal Canadiens Alumni will conduct baseball and softball clinics. Former Montreal Expos
players Derek Aucoin and Denis Boucher will be among the professional coaches to share their baseball knowledge and
expertise with the kids. Baseball Quebec will be providing support to the Canadiens Alumni Softball Tour.
Over the years, the Canadiens Alumni took part in a number of hockey and softball games in communities throughout Quebec
and across Canada. In 2013-14, events featuring the Canadiens Alumni helped raise in excess of $1 million in support of
various charitable endeavours and foundations.
